What a session looks like
You open a scene, for example ordering at a café, a job interview, or a visit to the doctor. The tutor stands in that setting as a 3D avatar, speaks first, and waits for you. You answer out loud. In Turn mode the app listens until you finish; in Live mode you can interrupt the tutor mid-sentence, like a real conversation. Subtitles and instant translation are there when you need them, in any of the 30 languages the app speaks.
Speech recognition runs on your phone, so the tutor reacts fast and the basics keep working without a connection. Conversations and detailed feedback use cloud AI providers.

Your own voice, clearer
Most apps grade you against a stranger's recording. Mimica can clone your voice on the phone in a few seconds and play your sentence back with English rhythm, vowels and stress, in your own timbre. The target stops sounding like someone else. The voice profile is created and stored on your device only and is never uploaded. You can skip this entirely and use a standard tutor voice.

Do I need to speak English already?
No. You pick your level during setup and the tutor adapts how it speaks. Subtitles and instant translation are available in your own language.
Does Mimica correct my pronunciation?
Yes. Mimic practice compares what you said with the target phrase, flags the sounds you shift, explains them in plain language, and plays the phrase back in a clearer version of your own voice.

What happens to my recordings?
